Steve McCurry
Many of Steve McCurry's works include other people as his main subjects. McCurry has gone to places like Italy, Burma, China, Cuba, Japan, and many more. His website has 57 different galleries full of pictures that McCurry has taken. Some photos are simple portraits while others are beautiful shots of a landscape or city. Many of McCurry's photos are full of detail and life. This photo captures the moment in which the fisherman is casting his line. McCurry puts the focus on the people because that is where he wants people to look. In the background there is a bird flying by as well as a large city. McCurry's pictures are all extremely well done, and framed nicely.
What Photography Means To Me
Photography is different for everyone. To me photography is a way to remember parts of life that I never want to forget. If you were to ask people what a good photograph is, you're unlikely to get the same answer twice. Marvin Heiferman used the example of a food stylist and a fashion photographer would both have different idea for a good photograph. Everyone has a different meaning for photography. For some people photography is a hobby, and for some people it is a job. Photography has been used by many different people to help express their thoughts and feelings about different topics. Photography can be used to capture the best moments in life, in a way so no one will forget them.
